Sustainability for Business Growth

Learning Theme: The Business of Staying in Business

In this sequence, students take on the role of Sustainability Coaches, helping businesses benchmark their current sustainability performance and identify areas for improvement.

Resources Introduction

As part of the Learning Theme: The Business of Staying in Business, students will explore Sustainability as a core capability—an essential area that contributes to the long-term success and resilience of any business.

This lesson sequence positions students as Sustainability Coaches, giving them the opportunity to assess real-world business practices, identify opportunities for improvement, and apply sustainability-first thinking to support the growth of a local business or their own business idea.

Key Information

Summary - Sustainability for Business Growth

By examining real-world business strategies, students will understand how environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles influence profitability, reputation, and resilience.
