As part of the Central Coast Education Networks pilot program, your child may be participating in classroom learning experiences that connect them with real-world ideas, local industries, and future opportunities across the Coast.
To acknowledge and celebrate their efforts, students who complete these learning experiences will be invited to apply for a Central Coast Education Networks Credential and Digital Badge. This credential is directly linked to the experience they participated in and recognises the skills, knowledge, and reflections they developed along the way.
The Central Coast Education Networks Digital Badge is a modern, secure way to recognise your child’s participation and achievements in classroom-based learning experiences.
This digital credential:
Digital Badge Permission
We ask that you review and approve your child’s participation in this recognition opportunity by completing a Digital Badge Permission Form.
Important: If you choose not to provide permission, your child will still be recognised with a printed certificate for their efforts—there is no disadvantage to not receiving the digital badge.
Why it Matters
The Central Coast Education Networks platform enables teachers and program developers to learn from student feedback and reflect on what works in the classroom. By participating in this process, students contribute to shaping future learning experiences for others in their school and across the Coast.
